HOSPICE Care is NOT just for Patients with CANCER! Anyone with an illness or chronic disease so severe that death appears inevitable within 6 months is eligible. Your doctor can certify your illness. (There is no penalty if the estimate is not correct, but you may be discharged from hospice if you improve beyond expectations.)
