Starting a practice of my own has been a long-time dream The business of medicine however has been a formidable barrier. The price of equipment and supplies continues to increase a bit more each year. Much of what I do is based on the sum of my education, knowledge and experience. My charges reflect the value of my services, although Medicare, Blue Cross, and other private and publicly funded insurance sources continue to demand payment “discounts.” I, and most other physicians, continue to bill the actual value or “allowed charge” of your visit.
We are hopeful that some day Congress will grasp the fact that we are being undervalued and underpaid for what we do. Please realize that due to pre-arranged discounts, in most cases neither you nor your Insurance Company will be actually be paying this amount—nor will I receive these dollars. Between 10% and 40% of what I bill is automatically “written off” by your insurance company and never paid.

No Bill?
Due to problems with our initial staffing, computer software, billing clearing house, and general lack of accounting experience on our part, the bills are currently being audited and corrected by us before any new bills are sent out.
