Your co-pay is due at time of service. Since we do not like asking you for money, and are trying to make your visit pleasant, just offer it to us. We will accept it graciously.
Appointments
Let us know if you are kept waiting more than a few minutes.
If you cannot make your appointment, we understand. Please cancel ahead of time so we can give that reserved time to someone else. Even if you call just an hour before your appointment time, we can probably schedule someone else.
Three missed or cancelled appointments gives us the right not to schedule you again.
We try to be on time for your appointment
If we are running late, we will give you a chance to reschedule for the next clinic day.
We make appointments on the computer. In case of a conflict or a mix up, the computer is always right. In spite of this we will try to let you in anyway. You may have to wait. Sorry if this upsets you, but this policy was created because of patient behavior.
Refills
If you are a patient of Dr. Knight's in good standing---that is you keep regular appointments, she will refill your medications on an as needed basis. Be aware that she sees hospitalized patients in the morning and clinic patients from 12:00 noon to 6:00 pm. Your message will not be reviewed until after clinic hours. Plan ahead and expect your refill to be available the next day by noon.
Be aware that if a refill is due, you probably need a follow up regarding your health condition or recheck of your laboratory tests. If your condition or medication does not need monitoring, you will be given a year of refills at a time.
