It's back to school time! Things that naturally follow are:
1.Keeping better schedules by getting a sleep-wake up routine.
2. Eating more nutritiously. One easy step is to check at the end of the day that you have had at least one thing to eat in each category of fruit, vegetable, protein, and dairy
3. Get your influenza vaccine! Traditionally, this was reserved for October, but now the Center for Disease Control recommends that you do not wait, but get it right away.
October
It's Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Put on your pink, which has become a breast cancer support symbol. More importantly, resolve to do your breast exams and go get your mammogram. It's recommended you get one every year after 40. (It just feels very tight for a few seconds. You can do it.) Take someone you love with you.
