OUR COMMUNITY

I recommend you continue to perform you self breast exams once a month. (the day you pay your bills is a good way to remember)   We all know of women who have found their own breast cancers.
I continue to recommend yearly mammograms: One for baseline  between age 35 and 40, the anually after age 40.  While it is true that most lumps found are benign, we also know Mammograms between age 40 and 50 will find one cancer out of every 1800 women screened.
